Young Man Killed in Lalitpur After Dispute; Suspect Arrested

A young man has been murdered in Ochu Height, Ward No. 4 of Lalitpur Municipality. The police have already detained the suspect and started an investigation.

According to the police, it is reported that at about 11 o'clock in the night on Wednesday, Ramechhap's Suman Rasaili, 25 years of age, killed his fellow Ramechhap Ripak Khati, 30 years old, with a khukuri.

"Deepak and someone else had a fight over teasing a sister. In these conditions, the victim was stabbed on the neck with a khukuri, leading to his death," an Imadol police source added.

Deepak Rasaili, the suspect, was arrested by the Imadol police last night and handed over to the Lalitpur District Police Office.

SSP Shyam Krishna Adhikari of Lalitpur District Police Office informed that the investigation into the murder is ongoing.
