Curfew Extended Until 7 AM Tomorrow

Kathmandu – The District Administration Office of Kathmandu has extended the curfew order. According to the latest notice from the administration, the curfew will remain in effect until 7 AM on Saturday.

Previously, the administration had imposed the curfew until 10 PM tonight, but due to the situation remaining unstable, the order has been extended.

In an official notice issued by Kathmandu’s Chief District Officer, Rishiram Tiwari, it is stated: “After analyzing the situation, as a continuation of the previously issued curfew order, a curfew has been imposed from 10 PM on 2081/12/15 until 7 AM on 2081/12/16. Under Section 6 of the Local Administration Act, 2028, movement within the designated perimeter of Kathmandu Metropolitan City is strictly prohibited. No individual is allowed to travel, gather, hold rallies, demonstrations, meetings, or protests within the restricted area.”
